Why Hello There :-)

It’s kind of strange, considering…I am me and all. I like to talk, write, ponder, think, listen to folks…and be heard So, I find it interesting that I haven’t started a blog sooner. Truth be told, I was a bit baffled by it all. Who really cares what Susie Mae has to say? But, then I read a few blogs from some friends and thought, hmph….I think this is kind of cool! FaceBook doesn’t really allow me the space to delve deeper into some thoughts, ideas, concerns, and topics that I’d really like to take more time to explore with you all. This….could be fun So, if you care to, stay tuned, subscribe…and let’s see where our thoughts take us!

My hope, of course, is that this journey will not just be a venue for me to spew my points of view, but a forum for uplifting, challenging, and life changing conversations that will leave us better for having participated. I hope you will take part too…leave your comments, encourage others to read and leave theirs. Let’s see if we can’t really start a movement here! Let’s take off the blinders and be real, and think beyond what we are fed, and even be silent for a while so we can allow our souls to hear God!

And know…you are NOT going to like what I have to say…probably MOST of the time. And, really…I don’ t care. Sorry, but, yeah, I don’t. Because I try to be honest, even when honesty is not popular, and usually when honesty doesn’t feel good. I try to really think about life, and what it means, and how the way we live does and does not correlate with that purpose. And lots of times, folks don’t want to hear it,  because people are really protective of the stuff that feels good. * Let’s take a moment here to say, don’t EVER say ANYTHING bad about wine and chocolate…but everything else we can discuss
